YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy & cookies.
This notice explains the current collection-only store and payment-on-collection service.
Who is responsible
X IT t/a Exciting Parties, 200 Stroud Green Road, London N4 3RN, is responsible for the customer information it uses. For privacy enquiries, email info@excitingfireworks.co.uk, call 020 7263 0005 or write to the shop.
Information we use and why
When you order or contact us, we use the information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, order details, delivery address where needed and messages. We use it to respond, prepare orders, arrange collection or delivery, handle payment and refunds, and resolve queries. These activities are necessary to take steps at your request or perform our contract with you.
We keep records needed to meet tax and accounting obligations. We also use relevant information to protect our store, investigate suspected fraud and deal with disputes, relying on our legitimate interests in running a secure business. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Website and payment services
Our store uses Wix for its product catalogue, shopping basket and hosted checkout. Website and security services may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and product photographs load from Wix's image service; those providers receive connection information when your browser requests these resources.
Online orders currently use offline payment: you pay when you collect, and we do not take online card payments. We use order and contact details to prepare your collection. Relevant records may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where required. We will update this notice before introducing online payment or delivery services.
Cookies and storage on your device
The shopping basket uses browser storage to keep your visitor session. The bouquet builder saves your selected balloons on your device so you can return to them. If you choose to pause or play animations, the website remembers that preference. Clearing your browser's site data removes these saved choices and may reset your basket.
This custom storefront currently has no advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts. If optional tracking is added, we will explain it and request consent where required before it runs. Wix-hosted checkout may use its own cookies and notices for security and payment functions.
Keeping and protecting information
We keep information for as long as needed to complete orders, respond to queries, meet legal record-keeping duties and handle relevant claims. The period depends on the type of record, applicable legal requirements and whether a dispute is ongoing. You can contact us for details about a particular record.
Wix operates internationally and may process information outside the United Kingdom. Wix describes its processing locations and contractual safeguards in its sub-processor information and Data Processing Agreement. Contact us if you need information about the safeguards applicable to your records.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction or transfer of information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal duties. Contact us to make a request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if our services or use of information changes. Last updated: 25 October 2026.
